Happy New Year! The after school program continues to go strong. Many teachers are focusing on reading this semester, so it remains important that students attend every day to get the most reading practice and tutoring in reading skills.

We will have another Family Math Games Night in March of 2012. Keep checking in for information regarding dates and times.

Educational Website page has been updated! Find lots of great computer based learning for grades K-12. The Khan Academy link has been added. Find short videos on how to do math problems and many other great instructional videos. Fun for parents, too!

About the Carrizozo After School Program:
Carrizozo's 21st CCLC after school program is a targeted program designed to help students succeed in school academically and socially and to succeed on state testing.
We offer programming to K-5 students based upon teacher recommendation and/or testing scores.
For 6-12th grade students, Mrs. Ball and Mrs. Joseph-Hays offer tutoring after school each day from 4:05 to 5:20. Also, if you let them know ahead of time, tutoring is available from 7:15 am to 7:45 am.
